1st Blog

Some people thought it would be therapeutic to write my thoughts in a journal. I figured it's 2010 so I'd try blogging. I have crappy hand writing anyway.

As I mentioned in "About Me", I have stage 2A Hodgskin's Lymphoma.  I have already conquered 2 of 12 treatments and have another one coming up on Friday.

The last 2 treatments have gone pretty well considering. I haven't thrown up yet. Apparently, the fact that I used to smoke and never got morning sickness, means that I should be less nauseous.
As of today, I still have my hair. Although it is starting to shed.  I'll post a picture of my new hair cut tomorrow.

I've felt really good so far this week. I've been working and even went jogging today and yesterday. Hitting the asphalt with just my ipod and twisted thoughts feels great.Once I figure out how to load music on here, I'll put up some of my inspirational music. May not be the kind of inspirational stuff you're used to; think Britney.

  2. This is a great idea Kelli!! Know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Please let us know if you need ANYTHING! I know Brai would love to hang with Alanna sometime...call if you need a break (although I am sure you have plenty of help). Sending all of our well wishes!
